Little 🐞 is here! (Long post)

My little ladybug is here earlier than expected. Her due date was April 2 but she had other plans for mommy and daddy and came on March 16 at 3:44 am!

I was told at 33 weeks that I have mild placental insufficiency and that the umbilical cord PI was high. So I was being monitored every week. Getting ultrasound and Doppler. Baby weight gain was so slow I was put on bedrest and was told I need to drink (CRAZY!!!) 8 scoops a day protein shake (yuck). Then at 35 weeks my doctor sent me to get my 2 steroid shots 12 hours apart because baby might have needed emergency c section.

At 37 weeks she told me to come back in 10 days and I’ll be told for sure wether I’m getting induced or c section. Baby was measuring 2.3kg at this point.

After 2 days in the morning I went to the washroom and saw I lost part of my mucus plug but I didn’t think much of it cuz it was just small jelly like thingy with no blood or anything. After 30 mins I started having weird lower back aches (can’t even call them aches). But I got worried so I called my doctor she said to come in if it doesn’t go away.

Long story short I went in on the 15th at 1pm cuz I was like it went away but I wanna get checked and they hooked me up to the monitor and told me that I’m having consistent contractions and I have to get admitted. Got admitted at 10:30pm on the 15th only 2cm dilated and things escalated very quickly. Without ANY medication or induction I was in active labor by 12:30am and next thing I know I’m pushing around 3 am. Initially I asked for epidural but oh boy there was no time for anything!! My girl was here at 3:44 am on the 16th weighing 2.2kg but by the God’s mercy she’s a healthy little peanut and we were discharged on the 18th in the morning and I got away with only couple of stitches!! ❤️
