Is it okay of you take the pill an hr or 2 late sometimes

Answer

Yes, it might not be as effective but you should be fine if it's only once in a while (say you work a different shift than usual and can't get your pill until you get off). If you're worried, it's best to use another form of contraception to make up for the possibility of it not being as effective. 
If you notice you're having to do that a lot, try taking it at a different time all together (change the time when you start a new pack) so that it fits your schedule better.
