How late is too late?

I know you're suppose to take the pill at the same time everyday. But sometimes I get caught up with something or I'm in the shower when my arm goes off to take it. I've taken it 20 minutes to an hour late. Is that bad?

Most pills it's up to 2 hours difference than your normal time and you're still protected. Read your pill information, with a lot of pills its ok that you miss one. Just remember the more pills you miss the less protected you are. Use other protection for at least 7 days if you miss any pills.

My doctor says if you miss one day take it the next. If you forget or take it later than usual take it as soon as possible. Just don't have sex that day if you take the pill late.

No, 20 minutes or an hour is fine. I take my pill in the morning around 7 when I'm getting ready for work but on my days off I don't get up until like 10 and it's fine.
