Tips to increase female libido??

I'm 21 and have had the same partner for 6 years. He is great in bed but I am on some meds that lower my sex drive. I miss feeling really horny for him. Any tips to increase libido (I need to say on the meds)?

I have the same problem. I'm very excited about the newly approved drug Addyi (flibanserin). It should be on the market by mid-October and some are calling it the "female Viagra". By no means does it work the same way as Viagra, but it works to increase female libido as a psychological issue, Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder. Look it up!

I had to quit taking birth control pills, they completely killed my sex drive, so I wasn't even having sex. I had absolutely no desire to and i felt uber annoyed when my bf wanted sex, bc I didnt crave any.  there was no point in taking them, since I was taking them to prevent pregnancy (the pill can also help with other issues), but wasn't even having sex. Are you on birth control? Might be time to explore another option.

I have the same problem (my meds lower my sex drive)... I've also tried different medications and am on the one with the least side effects but it's still a problem!

It sucks... My doctor told me that working out regularly releases hormones that may increase the drive.... I can't say that it has a direct effect but it does make you feel good. I also try to wear clothes that I find sexy to bed (not like kinky stuff, and I don't wear it for him, I just wear it so *i* can feel sexier).. Silk tanks and shorts, cute lacy tops etc.

Sometimes I also will wait until he falls asleep and then watch a little porn or something, then wake him up kinda sexy. It's hard to get yourself into the mindset but once you're there it should be ok. Just thinking about it or talking about it more might keep it on your mind more....

For some reason my meds will make me think like "ew" when I think about sex. It's so weird... But you have to just ease yourself into it and once you get past that point you'll start to feel sexy.

It's 50/50 with me doesn't always work but I keep trying. Hard to explain to others that don't have this problem. You can be totally attracted to someone and still not want to have sex. Let me know if you find something that works! Lol

Do more during sex that you would do alone to turn yourself on... Visual aids, sexual aids, etc. 😻 Or try to go a more romantic direction with candles, fresh sheets, and lots of massage oil. Teach him what turns you on, and he can help you get that "really horny" feeling back.
