Alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't. Drunk people do stupid stuff like..., get violent, drive drunk, etc. High people, just want to laugh and eat. I know some people who use it to fall asleep since it is difficult for them to fall sleep. I just saw a guy on the news who went to prison FOR LIFE..and had just got out because of Obama. That is crazy.. Life?! While child molesters and/or murderers get 10 years or so?

Oh get over yourself. 11 year olds are being prescribed Oxycotin and you're worried about pot? I can't believe some of the thought processes of some people. Marijuana must be legalized to take out big pharmaceutical companies.

I want it legal for medical use, I want more studies and doctors to be aware and prescribe it more. I think it has the potential to help so many with far less side effects than pharmaceuticals. As far as recreational, not until there's a way to quickly detect the exact active amount in your system. Just like alcohol, it impairs your judgement and no one should be driving while stoned. There has to be a way to check on that. Other than that, I wouldn't use it, but I wouldn't care if others do. It doesn't bother me now as long as people don't drive.
I'm from Colorado and I love that we have made weed legal both medically and recreationally. I understand the concerns of making it legal but really nothing has changed around here and the state is making millions off taxing weed and that money goes to the schools here. I also like that it makes talking to your children about smoking easier and it makes it easier for children to talk to their parents about it

Wow! That's a big jump. My mom has a one bed one bath townhouse in the highlands north of Denver and now she's renting out the place for $1,900! I can't believe how much prices have increased

I've lived in the same apartment for 3 years and this next lease renewal my rent is going from 1095 to 1440 for a one bedroom!
My only concern with it being recreational is that it would be in public spaces. Which means there's a possibility of me or my children being exposed to drugs, which in no way do I want to happen.

Ashley, coke COMES FROM a plant but before it becomes cocaine it is cooked, processed, has elements separated out and others added in. The actual plant it comes from is harmless by itself. Not a good comparison.
