We were out yesterday with my SO's friends. I would meet some of them for the first time so I tried to be good looking. So it was fine and I had a good time. But this friend (male) of his told me out of the blue "I don't want to be judgemental but let me say sth. the piercing u have in your face is not flattering at all. It has nothing to do with ur whole look." and then so's cousin added "yeah, u have grown out of it. U are not 17."I felt so akward! Truth is I have had this piercing under my lips for five years, had it in the last year of high school and loved it during my first years in college. I was a punk girl then though. I've changed completely the last year and become more classy. I have been thinking of taking it off but.... it is so me after these years. Anyway after these comments we kept talking for stuff... and my so tells his friend "yeah she's studying the law". And he was like "u don't look like a lawyer at all. " WTF do I look so dumb?! And this guy is not really a friend of so, I would say he is more of an acquaintance. They used to hang out two years ago and now they just say hi. But he feels so comfortable telling me these things?! Vent over. (advice for appearance is welcome :p)
