Question about sperm analysis
So, my S.O. and I have been talking about what the next steps will be if I carry a regular cycle and ovulate and we dont get pregnant. We started talking about a sperm analysis however we have a concern.
My S.O. doesnt masturbate (long back story to his life and things he isnt proud of) and I honestly dont agree with it anyways. Have any of you had doctors strictly want your man to masturbate or are most doctors willing to let you do a take home?
I know there is more factors in a take home but it's a serious question we are having

The place we went to said you can do it at home but it has to be in the container they give you, you can’t use any lubricants or saliva and you have to be able to get it there within 30 minutes while keeping it at body temperature. Maybe just call the place you would have the analysis done at and ask them if it’s possible! Good luck! 🍀
You should be finding taking the sample pot home - my husband did his first two samples at home. The only concern is if you do need fertility treatment/further investigation, he would need to produce the sample ‘solo’ at the hospital. Fingers crossed it won’t get to that point though 🤞🏼

I dont think he ever would. He feels masturbation as betrayal to me. And he has had problems being addicted and believes if he ever did again it may come back
