This is my first baby and I had a really bad hemorrhage in the delivery room immediately after the placenta was out. My husband was the one that had to watch it all happen and is terrified. My question is I want to have another child at some point but he thinks it’s dangerous whilst I say it’s because he’s scared. I don’t want to ignore his concerns but I also haven’t found anything that says it’s not a good idea. I was looking for any studies or research material that back him up/report that it’s dangerous to conceive again after a serious hemorrhage. Having a big family has always been our dream and it’s something he wants too... I just don’t want us to give up on our dreams because we were temporarily swayed by emotions.

If there’s anything that says it’s a bad idea, I’ll concede that he has a real reason to be concerned.
