First IUI Success!!

I’m still flooded with emotions. My partner (FTM) and I have been trying to conceive through donors for the last year and some months. I have PCOS and it’s incredibly difficult to pin point ovulation because PCOS is a bitch! Anyways, we decided in January with my new insurance to look into treatments at the fertility clinic.

Valentine’s Day, I had my first appointment. Everyone in the office is so amazing. They checked my endometrium and took some labs. I left with a prescription for progesterone to bring on my period (I was currently at CD 154), letrozole, and the trigger shot.

By CD7, I was having pain in my left ovary. CD8, I had a follicular scan. 2 big follicles, 15mm and 17mm. Took the trigger shot two days later, and then had my IUI two days after that.

I tested out the trigger waiting before the lines faded away before deciding to take early pregnancy tests because I have no self control and have to pee on all the things! At 8DPO, I saw a tiny vvvvvvfl. Like super faint. 9DPO, it was a little darker. Today 10DPO, it’s even darker. No turning the test, no squinting the eyes... it was there. Pink lines. Still a little light, but it’s still early, too. Digital readout to confirm YES+!!!

LMP 2/27/2019, so the due date calculated to Dec 4th! I’m so excited! Blood work to confirm Monday!
