Wine?

Question

Who here has had a glass of wine or 2 for either special occasions or just to relax after a long day while pregnant?  I'm in 2nd tri. I wouldn't consider it at all if I was still in first tri but I've read/heard it's common in other countries that...

When I was pregnant with my son I had a glass of red wine here and there and I also drank my morning cup of joe that's right I did it my dr said it was totally ok and there isn't anything wrong with my son don't over think things moderation is the key

Just an FYI: People have very strong opinions over this on here.

Personally, I wouldn't. I'm a teacher and have had a handful of kids with FASD. To me, I can wait 9 months for alcohol to avoid the problems I've seen.

Well, it's supposed to be that a glass (one serving) of red wine is good for the heart, even if you're pregnant. But you need to consider that regardless of how far along you are, whatever you're having, the baby is having it too.
We went out to celebrate last night & I had a glass. I kept trying to be oka with it but I felt super guilty.. not doing that again!

I drank one glass of red wine a week during the last trimester of my 2nd pregnancy. I had preeclampsia and I think it helped. Managed to not get induced before 41+6 despite being sent to the hospital for monitoring at least once a week and the dr almost inducing 3 times before 40 weeks. But remember, a glass/serving of red wine is only about 4oz, so it's really not that much.
