My best friends boyfriend likes me

Yesterday I was talking to my BFF's BF and in the conversation he said he loved me. I like him too but what do I do? I don't want to lose my BFF because she means everything to me but I really want to take this chance with him. I'm just so confused because I don't know who I want more in my life. He knows I like him so he might bring it up and then my BFF would be hurt. I need advice please thank you for reading
