Climbing the stairs?

How long did you all wait to climb the stairs? Is it ok as long as you go slowly? I'm one week pp

As soon as I got home. LOL Mine and baby's bedroom are up there and I sure as hell wasn't sleeping on the couch after being in that damn hospital bed for 4 days. Just take it slow and listen to your body, it will feel better sooner than you think.

I climbed the stairs the first day I got home. I just took it easy and had no pain or issues at all!

The day I got home our bedroom is upstairs. Just take it slow that's what my dr said.

I had my CS Saturday and went to sickkids hospital in Toronto Ontario to see my son and it took a bit of time to go upstairs from Saturday till Monday night

I had to go up to shower, but I found going up backwards felt a lot better!

The day I got home bc our bedroom is upstairs. I only went up and down once and walked up backwards to take the stress off my stomach

Our bathroom is upstairs so I had to use the stairs the day I got home.  My incision burned like hell but I had basically crawled up the stairs slowly.

I waited almost a month to use more than 3 stairs at a time. My doctor said to wait as long as I could.

I didn't wait nor is it necessary to wait. I would have had to camp outside my home if waiting were necessary
