There are varying opinions on this one. However, the American College of obstetricians and gynocologists redefined full term in 2013 to be 39-40 weeks. 37-38 weeks is early term. 41 weeks is late term and 42 + weeks is post term.

I thought it was 37 but my doctor congratulated me at my 38 week appointment saying now that I'm 38 weeks I'm officially considered full term. So I'm not sure what week exactly.

37 weeks might be technically full term, but I think more and more docs are encouraging women to stay pregnant longer and not get induced that early. My doc won't induce before 39 weeks unless there is a serious medical problem
