I didn't have any in the first trimester but I've had lots of brown spotting and discharge in the second trimester. My doctor reassured me that it's very common around this time because baby is more active and my uterus is stretching. I'm not concerned because baby is moving and kicking like crazy.

Spotting in the first trimester is super common though. Call your doctor if you are worried. Just know that if you're not having really bad cramping and heavy bleeding your little one is just fine.

I spotted around 6 weeks and went to the doctor that same day to make sure the baby had implanted in my uterus. I'm now 21 weeks and have a perfectly healthy boy growing and kicking away. lol. Always go get checked out if you are bleeding though.

I bled at the end of my first trimester for 4 weeks into the second trimester. I went to the hospital twice but they said the baby was fine and as long as it wasn't bright red or soaking a maxi pad between bathroom breaks then I was okay. I'm 27w5d now and everything is still good.... BUT everyone is different so you should still at least call or go see your OB, midwife, doc whoever you see and just have them check it. But try not to worry only because it is normal but definitely take it seriously to be safe rather than sorry. Good luck :)

You should call your doctor and get checked but a lot of women do spot and I did with my daughter for a couple of days.. I went to the ER and it was old blood they said! Good luck
