How do you feel about your country’s flag being printed on/worn on clothing?

Opening this up to people of all countries to answer (if it applies). If it doesn’t really apply to where you live, feel free to answer as though it does or answer as if you are in a country where it does matter to a lot of people.

I’ve seen and heard this debate many times (saw it on dance moms rerun 10 min ago so I’m making this poll now) and would like CC’s thoughts on wearing a flag such as the USA’s on clothing. The moms on the show were briefly expressing their dislike at their daughters wearing flag-printed hot shorts (very short shorts) for a dance and said it was disrespectful to the USA.

Is it okay to you to wear flag-printed clothing all of the time? Only okay in a certain context, like on a country-related holiday? Only okay on tops and not on bottoms? Only okay on certain types of items? You wouldn’t do it yourself, but you’re fine with others doing it? You don’t give a crap either way? Etc.

Please stay respectful that not everyone comes from the same country and/or culture... just want to bring a debate to cc that I haven’t seen yet/in a while. Sorry if it’s been posted here recently.
