Ok so I’m 15 and recently (a few months ago) was forced to come live with my dad. We have a very strained relationship and it’s not getting better anytime soon.

He’s very conservative and I’m the opposite. So recently he scolded me for wearing a crop top to school (this kind of stuff happens often) and it made me wonder will he be hesitant about me joining cheer once he sees the uniform.

I really want to join and I feel like it’ll make me feel better about the love, but I feel like he won’t care because he’ll think the uniform is too showy.

Should I start talking about to him and my step mom not or should I wait until I make the team so they have to let me?
