I have a UTI, can I wait a week before going to the doctor?

It feels very mild at the moment, so I want to see if I can flush the bacteria out myself. Do you think this can work? Or is it likely to get worse and should I just schedule an appointment immediately?
I’m asking because I honestly can’t afford a $110+ visit to the doctor at the moment and my insurance won’t cover it until I reach my deductible 😕

You need to go. The UTI can quickly turn into a kidney infection and that $100 will turn to thousands.

You can take OTC Azo for UTI but if you gotta wait for that next paycheck go to the dr, be prepared to deal with the side effects. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Most definately go in. UTIs can spread to your kidneys at an alarming rate, then your really in for some trouble. Trust me.

Go ASAP. UTIs can quickly turn into kidney infections, and would cost a lot more than $100. You can have the doctors offices bill you and make payments, you don’t have to pay it immediately in most circumstances. But you need to get that UTI treated immediately. 
Try calling your doctor and see if they’ll go ahead and prescribe you the meds without seeing you, that way you can save the money and just pay for the prescription. I don’t know if most doctors for sure will do this with a UTI, but mine would do this when I had Yeast Infections. She would just order me in the prescription diflucan since Monistat doesn’t work well for me.
