Am I paranoid?

So in my Ap Lang class there’s this student teacher guy who’s maybe 30. He’s taken an interest in me, he’s extremely interested in my ideas and opinions and stuff. Which is great, I like it when teachers interact with their students as equals. But the thing is, he always sits by me to hear what I’m saying. He left a note in my copy of Gatsby telling me I had good ideas. Let me be clear that he is not my actual teacher, he is learning from my teacher. He even complimented me when I wore my hair differently. I’m not one of those people who in to their teachers. I’m actually starting to find it creepy. Is it creepy? Should I be scared? Or am I just paranoid?
