What would you do?
Let’s say you pay your phone bill every month. Then your phone stops working.
No calls, no texts, no data so no internet access. *i also had no WiFi. I have “unlimited data” so I didn’t see a reason to pay for internet. Not to mention that for whatever reason getting internet in this area would have been super expensive.
This happened in my town...for 9 days. The entire town, it made the 6pm news and everything because nobody in our town could use our phones. We had to drive out of the town to make phone calls so I would have to drive until I could make a phone call to my service provider and they’d tell me “it will be fixed tomorrow.” Then that day would pass and it still wouldn’t be fixed. It just kept going but I was moving anyways and haven’t had and trouble like that since moving out of that town. But my mom is saying it’s not fair that I have to pay for a cell service that doesn’t work at all. That I should get some sort of refund for that week I was unable to use my phone and that it’s stealing to make someone pay for something and not give it to them. I didn’t have a land line and my phone was the only thing I had to contact someone if something bad happened. The week I moved we had bad weather (tornado weather) and she pointed out that my phone is what alerts me to bad weather and it would have just never went off if we were in a tornado warning in the middle of the night or something. Nobody was able to call me and vice Versa
And then they turned my phone off after I moved.. my account had money in it and they just didn’t charge it and turned my phone off so I had to call them and tell them to charge my account and turn my phone back on.
So obviously I’m looking into canceling it and finding a new one. But would you do anything or just drop it?
