Catholic easter info /outfit help??!????

So my boyfriends (3 months officially 7 of being exclusive) parents/grandparents invited me to their Easter celebration! They’re catholic and I’m the lest religions person! I know absolutely nothing about eastern other than candy and the Easter bunny! Can I get a quick rundown of what it’s like also is this outfit appropriate? I’ll be wearing the same skirt and the same shirt but in pastel yellow and pastel yellow open toe heals

The the top can also be worn as a non off the shoulder top!

The only thing I’d say if you are going to church with them is wear the top on, not off the shoulders. Other than that I think it’s totally appropriate and cute.

Are you actually going to the Church celebration or just the holiday get together? Either way this outfit is 100% fine in my opinion. Catholic masses are difficult to follow (if you’re going to mass with them). Just basically do what they do (sit, kneel, stand, repeat) and don’t go up for communion, as Catholics don’t offer the Eucharist to non-Catholics. If you’d like a blessing from the priest during Holy Communion, you may put your arms across your chest in the form of an “X” and the priest can give you a blessing but not communion. If it’s just the family get together, no worries at all. In my experience it’s mostly just food, maybe an Easter egg hunt, and exchange of chocolate and small gifts/Easter baskets.
