Skipping TTC March/ April to avoid a Christmas Birthday?

Would you skip TTC in March/April to avoid a Christmas Birthday for your baby? Everyone I know who has a birthday close to Christmas hates it!

I wanted to avoid a winter baby but after 17 cycles I can careless when I get pregnant lol I just want a baby lol

I don't really want a winter baby because everyone I know has winter birthdays and it's so expensive but any baby will do. This is my second month of TTC my first, I'm 30 and I know way too many people who have had trouble conceiving, so I'm not gonna be picky and just be thankful for what I get

I concieved in April. My baby was due January 2nd. Baby came in early December. Just because your friends hate having a winter baby does not mean you will hate it 100%. I hated the idea of it, but now that my child is here, I love when her birthday is. Plus these are lots of non holiday actitvites you can still do with your child. And just because their birthday is near the holidays does not make it more expensive. Kids are expensive regardless.

No because even if you’re due around Christmas doesn’t mean you will 100 percent deliver then. My first I was due in December and she came mid November and my last two babies tried to come at 32 weeks

My bday is the day after and I don’t hate it. It was hard to have bday parties when I was younger but we just did them early or late 🤷🏼‍♀️ my parents always made sure my day was special and never combined Xmas and my bday. Now some other people have but whatever. It’s not the best but I’m also not avoiding this month bc of it

I always tried to avoid TTC in February so I didn’t have to share my November birthday with my kid since my husband and I already share a bday. 😂 But after ten years of trying, I’ll gladly share my bday or Christmas or any other day.
