I’m so incredibly embarrassed and need to share what happened today as I’m overly thinking about it.

I recently got new colored contact lenses which I can’t see well out of. My eyes can’t focus and things are hard to read. Mix that with the fact that I’m uncomfortable holding eye contact for too long and the result is I tend to gaze off to one of the sides of my eyes and down toward the floor. I went to the eye doc today to get the contacts looked at and corrected and the person checking me out at the end was staring at me hard core. I had just found out that the colored lenses will not work for me and got lost in thought. I starred down at the table because of how I felt and the fact I can’t see well, then I realized the eye doc was standing right behind where I was staring and it looked like I was staring at this mans crotch. I looked back at the cashier and his eyes were locked on me, I don’t think they released their gaze until I left.

I was staring at the table, I swear. I don’t ever want to go back there. Tell me I’m not the only one something like this has happened to! Tell me I’ll get over it or that I’m just overreacting or anything other than they all think I wanted the docs D.
