I need advice.

I contracted HSV 2 about 5 years ago. Thankfully I have not experienced symptoms for over 4 years and I take daily medication to reduce the risk of passing it along. Since diagnosis I have only have sex with a committed boyfriend but that ended about a year ago. I'm starting to get back out there and casual sex may be on the horizon. Obviously I will tell my future partners about my diagnosis and give them the facts, and if they decide they still want to have sex, use protection. BUT.... how do I even bring this up? It feels like such an awkward topic. Does anyone have experience with this or have any advice? Thanks!
