Am I being selfish?

Question

I've been put on complete bed rest and the dr put me on disability for work. However, my question is, my in laws live 2 hours away from us and my husband wants to take our two children (2&4) for a few days. I haven't said no but the thought of not seeing my baby's for a few days is adding to the stress I already have. Am I being selfish by saying no?

Not being selfish at all! But think how nice it would be to have peace in quiet for you to relax for a couple days! 😊 I know it's a tough decision though.

You're not being selfish at all!! Its tough to be away from your babies for more than a day! If you trust the people they will be with, try to relax and think about making sure your pregnancy and new baby will be healthy.

No, your children make everything a lil brighter even in difficult situations. But complete peace might do you some good. I think either way is fine but if it'll only stress you don't do it.

Thanks ladies 💕 I just don't feel like I can handle the stress of worrying about my LO's. I wouldn't mind getting rest but with the scare of losing our unborn baby, I don't want to be here alone. I talked with my husband and he agreed as much as he wants to see his family he's going to stay here to support me ❤️My hormones are still kicking in and making me emotional over him debating whether he wanted to leave me for a few days. I know I'm being dramatic but he's my rock. Lord forbid, something happen to our baby while he was away I would fall apart.
