When should I start taking OPKs?

Hi ladies! I just finished my AF yesterday and shouldn't ovulate till next weekend. My question though is when should I start taking OPKs? I don't want to start too early not do I want to start too late and miss my peak! When should I start taking them?

It's recommended to Start around 8 days after the last day of your period.

I can't go by what these other ladies have said because I ovulate 1-2 days after my period ends. :-/
