So we are announcing tonight to my super judgmental closed minded MIL that we are expecting our 4th baby. She is literally the last to know, and I just can’t hide this bump anymore. Lol we are great parents and are financially able to have more children she is just so opinionated about everything. I love her, and I do feel like she means well most of the time but she literally has no filter and is so closed minded. I am so nervous to tell her. She just told us a few weeks ago that she feels like we have too much on our plates with both working and having 3 kids. We’re always busy, etc. She just says really rude stuff and we don’t ever say anything bc if anyone ever questions her actions she will literally just cut them out and not talk to them. Once she didn’t speak to my husband for 3 years bc his sister lost custody of her children she had a drug and alcohol problem, well my husband still tried to keep in contact with her kids and he was cordial with their father. Well my MIL felt like it wasn’t his place and she felt like he wasn’t being supportive of his sister. It was seriously ridiculous. Since then their relationship has been much better, I try to keep the peace and smooth things over and talk to her. But I am so nervous about tonight. Ugh! Everyone including my parents are super excited and supportive, so I think this makes it worse bc I just want my MIL to be the same. 😬
