Thought I was 8 weeks...

I have VERY irregular periods and me and my fiance were trying SO HARD for this. I found out I was pregnant and what seemed like just when I found out I start started cramping and bleeding like a period 3 days before my first appointment to confirm pregnancy.( Just so you know I have been spotting since then brown spotting, it been a month.)

I went to ER. I didn't pass anything and my HCG was registering at 38. The doctor did an US couldn't find anything and said it was a miscarriage and that's why my HCG was so.low and was advised to come back two days later....I went back for the check up as advised by the doctor all to hear my HCG was rising but not doubling. It was then said I was possibly experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. I was advised to come back in a week to do blood work.

A week passed and went to my OB. This was a horrible experience. The nurse couldn't find my vain and only got less than a quarter of a vial of my blood because she ended up going through my vein...OUCH. I was trying to be a good sport because I was determined to find answers and asked her if she wanted to do my other arm to get more but she insisted the amount she had was going to have to do.

She then sends me to the room to wait for the doctor. I waited ten minutes all to have the doctor come in for 2 minutes tops and say " what are you here for? Your having a miscarriage so what do you want to do? Get pregnant?" I was confused because I didn't have any sort of pelvic exam with him and he didn't ask me anything about my previous hospital visits and no other questions were asked. I told him " well the whole point of my visit is to have answers and yeah I would like to get pregnant but I also want to make sure I'm not having an ectopic" the doctor responded to wait till I'm not bleeding and try again then walked out of the room. I WAS PISSED.

I waited till the next Monday (3days later) to call about the blood results. I was advised I would have to wait for my next appointment in 4 weeks...FUCK THAT...I went to the office and demanded a copy of my results. The lady didn't want to give them to me and when I was asked why my response was " because HIPPA BITCH" finally got the results and the paper said " SPECIMEN QUANTITY INSUFFICIENT FOR VERIFICATION "

They didn't even bother to ask me to come back to do more blood work they we're going to wait for to come back 4 weeks later. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

I made nother appointment with a different ob/GYN it's been 4 weeks since then. This doctor was very nice and asked several questions and did a pelvic exam and all the goods. He still isn't sure what's going on but will know more once my blood work comes back. I should be 12 weeks but my periods are irregular and based on my first visit the doctor said I my HCG was registering at 3-4 weeks. If this pregnancy we're to have persisted I would be 8 weeks. I will finally have answers next week and if I did loose the baby then I am okay with it and I will ba happy knowing I can get pregnant.

***Update****

Started what I think.might be my period 5 weeks after suspected mc. I am lightly bleeding, no cramps, not clots just light bleeding. Waiting for the bloody massacre to start. Will be trying again.
