3 month old sleep help
Alright moms, shoot me your sleep tips!
My daughter is almost 3 months old and I really can't complain too much about her sleeping. She does great at night, usually only waking up once to eat.
However, just this week she has started having total meltdowns over sleeping. We try to catch her cues early and get her swaddled and ready to sleep at the first yawn or eye rub. But she just full on, red face screams. Sometimes for up to an hour. This can happen anytime of day but it seems to be worst around 6 pm. Perhaps it's just a witching hour that all of a sudden started up?
The other thing I can't figure out is how to get her to fall asleep on her own. Right now we have to hold her until she's out and then transfer her to the crib. If I just put her in the crib sleepy, she squirms and cries and can't seem to settle down. I love the snuggles but I feel like we should be trying to break the habit. I feel she is way too young to cry it out, but I'm not sure how else to go about it. I also go back to work Monday, so maybe this isn't a good time to shake things up? Give me your wisdom!
