I just discovered this bald patch a week ago, I was able to see a doctor during the week and he confirmed it was Alopecia Areata. He said it was caused most likely by stress after having my baby. Which I really have never felt stressed or overwhelmed about since I had her. Anyway, he prescribed a steroid cream for the hair regrowth and recommend I go see a dermatologist. He told me not to stress out about this but then continue to tell me it can be about a year for my hair to regrow. I know it’s not in a super noticeable spot but I feel so self conscious about it! Has anyone else gone through this? If so what helped with your hair regrowth?
