Extremely Light Periods

A little background. I was on birth control for about 8 years age 18-26. I got off of it, and had normal cycles for an entire year and a half. In 2016 I noticed a huge shift, literally one month to the next! My periods are SO light. Spotting at best. And I know this is TMI...but any bleeding I DO have is very thick and stringy and only happens when I pee. My husband and I have been TTC since June 2017. All of husbands test have come back fine. I have been to multiple doctors, have had blood tests, ultrasounds, and the dreaded HSG and everything is “fine”. What gives!? I feel like SOMETHING has to be wrong even though doctors keep telling me I’m fine. Anyone else have a similar situation? Any advice? Any answers? I’m beyond frustrated and hopeless. I can’t help but think there’s a correlation between my light cycles and our infertility. 😔
