Three weeks ago I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks 4 days. We had already seen the heartbeat and it was completely unexpected. I was devastated. To add to this, I lost my job back in December. After a few weeks, I started running again to deal with my emotions, and I finally started to feel somewhat human. I focused on my job search and my wedding in April, and the world began to get a bit brighter. Three days ago, I came home and I thought we had been robbed. My fiancé’s computer was gone. His bike was gone. The screen to our porch wasn’t closed correctly, as if it had been shut in haste. But then I saw the closet. All of his clothes were gone. Everything was gone. Not only was my baby gone, my fiancé was gone, too. I had just returned from a hair cut where I had booked my hair and makeup for our wedding day. I already had my dress. My family has reservations. I feel like the world has been turned upside down, and I don’t know what to do. Not just because of the wedding, but also because of the future. I’m almost 34, and I’m scared I’ll never have a baby now. I don’t want to start over. My life was just about to start.....
