We're due in August with our rainbow but I'm starting the guest list for our baby shower. I work at a college in a small department and have 9 co-workers. Of course they all know im expecting and all but one knew about my angel baby after the miscarriage (i was only 9 weeks along so too soon to annouce.) I'm wondering what the etiquette is in inviting them? We plan to have it at my church which is about 45 mins from my home and I work about 3mins from home. (For some coworkers that would be about 1.5+ hr drive). I have this weird thing about mixing crowds too so I'm just not sure how to go about this. Any ideas/opinions? .....btw, one of my coworker's wife is due two weeks after me so I feel like my dept will do some joint office shower so idk if i should feel obligated to extend the invitation.
