You’re telling your partner you’re pregnant. Do you show him the pregnancy test / stick?

Wondering if people generally show their partner a pregnancy test / stick, or if they’d throw it in the trash. I would keep mine but a friend threw hers away and never showed her partner.

Every pregnancy test I've ever taken, negative or not, looked positive after an hour or so of sitting around.
I've never shown a partner a pregnancy test. Never needed to, they had no reason to suspect I was lying about it.

This is how I showed my husband. Told him it was an early birthday gift. Had it wrapped up. After it came up positive on the cheap pregnancy tests I bought the book and the digital test. He said he had no idea what the small lines meant on a test so he was grateful for the digital. Best wishes.

Nah I just told my partner. I would of showed him the tests but he didn’t ask so didn’t feel the need to show him.

I announce to my husband by handing him the test and saying "I made dis". I didn't keep the test from my last one and I ended up miscarrying at 8 weeks. The first ultrasound is at 12 weeks so I never had anything from the pregnancy to remind me they were real other than a $3k medical bill from the er. And that made me really sad. So when I got pregnant again I kept the test

When he knocked me up the second time I threw the test at him and said he got me pregnant again ! He just laughed 🙄 we weren’t planning on getting pregnant at 8 weeks pp but he wanted another one so bad
