I had a scan done at 13 weeks, the tech guessed boy. I didn't feel comfortable accepting that answer since it was still so early so I waited till after the anatomy scan confirmed it before announcing.

I had a regular appointment at 18+3 with ultrasound but at the moment baby was cross legged and my impatient OB didn’t want to try and look. So I went and paid for one to be done five minutes after. All it took was patience and some cold water and she was open like a flower. I announced to everybody bc it was definite that far along. And he even put on a heat detector to ensure we wouldn’t mistake her umbilical chord for a weenie 😇

I'm cheap and waited for the scan my insurance covers 😂 overall for me it wasn't much longer of a wait.
