Anyone else having twin suspicions/intuition?

I’m 7w5d, and my partner has been insisting since before we got pregnant that he felt certain it would be twins. He’s starting to convince me! Lol.

Twins don’t really run in my family, my aunt did have an unsuccessful twin pregnancy, but that’s it that I’m aware of. But I’m almost 38 which raises my odds to somewhere around 5%, and I conceived while breastfeeding, which at least one study has shown to raise the odds to around 12%—much higher even than fertility meds!—and I’m not sure what those numbers mean in combination with one another. So I definitely do have some pretty big “risk” factors.

As far as symptoms go, this is my 5th pregnancy and the absolute worst as far as nausea goes. I’m also so bloated I look 6 months pregnant (I know it’s impossible for it to actually be “showing” yet no matter how many are in there), and I’m having hip pain already which seems very early. My breast tenderness also seems extreme. I’ve also been very lightly spotting on and off for the past 2 weeks, which I’ve heard is more common with twins because everything is stretching and growing much more rapidly.

I know this is all just silly speculation and can be totally normal in single pregnancies too, but I just thought it would be fun to see if anyone else out there is experiencing similar and keep one another updated when we find out for real! My first appointment isn’t until 4/4!
