The other day my husband’s Oma went on about how my BIL’s baby is the most beautiful baby, he was born late November so still fairly new. And how on my baby’s ultrasound it looked like there was a growth on her forehead, it was just the cord but if you didn’t know then that’s what it looked like. But she is fully aware that’s all it is. So I’m not sure why she even said anything about it. I know she didn’t really mean anything by what she said, at least I hope not, but it made me mad that she’s almost judging the looks of my baby before she’s even born. Just annoyed me. My baby is healthy, and she is beautiful no matter what. Why even make comparisons?

Ps. The ultrasound wasn’t a special 3D one. It was a standard ultrasound so not even all that clear. Plus the images they gave me weren’t even nicely done. Could only really make out my monkey’s nose and adorable cheeks. ☺️
