Wraps? Too hot for June babies??

I LOVE the idea of babywearing. Seems so convenient. But I’m just worried it will be too hot. I live in Utah so it does get pretty hot here. Thoughts? Maybe light weight wrap options ? I love the idea of baby k’tan but just so worried baby girl will overheat.

I bought a solly babywrap and it seems really breathable.  My husband commented on how thin and soft it was.  I’ve read for summer babies the best way to wear them is in just a diaper and the wrap.

I used the k'tan in August. I didnt use it as much when we would be super active, because it made me hot and sweaty and if i was uncomfortable so was my baby. But it was great for short trips or cooler days or for indoors like grocery shopping. But like going to the zoo? Nope did not work for me

My friend gave me one... But i was thinking the same thing!! It's damn near as thick as a good bath towel!! It was warm to put it on without baby in February!! Im also in Utah. I was thinking id just measure it, and go buy some breathable fabric. I cant afford a ton of money for one and im not going to be having a baby shower.

Look at getting a frog towel. It was great to line my carrier with between me and baby to help us both stay cool.

We live where the summers get 90°+ (I know that’s not super hot but still hot to be outside with a baby on ya!) and my mom used a wrap for my baby sister. She loved it! Made em a little sweaty sometimes but maybe just don’t have the baby in there very long and you’ll be totally fine ☺️

I wore my son constantly in the summer in my wrap and he never got too hot. I just tried to stay in the shade and I kept checking his neck and upper back to make sure they weren't hot.

I thought I remembered seeing one for hot temps.  The active wrap seems to be better for hot temps of the two after reading about them.  Hope this helps!

I just bought the ergobaby 360 with mesh. Hoping that will create a more breathable environment for baby.
