Period but then a BFP?!🧐

Question

Anyone have a period and then get a BFP? 
Backstory- had a five day period, 3/18-3/22 . Took an ovulation test on 3/24 and it was super positive which lead me to test with a hpt. I got blood done today BUT just wondering if anyone out there had this too and it was a happy ending?

Update: has betas run, HCG is 127. Getting more bloodwork tomorrow. Guess I’ll find out

I had my period then a few days later I got a positive test result. I also had bad cramps and pain the day I got the positive result. The next day I had slight bleeding ( still in pain) and went to urgent Care. They confirmed I was pregnant and told me to have an Obgyn visit to monitor my symptoms. About a week later I started bleeding and went to the ER. I found out I was having a miscarriage ( numbers were dropping). I bled for a few days. 
I hope this is not the case for you though. It's good that you are not bleeding or having pains.

I did, or at least what seemed like a period but obviously wasn’t. It was a little lighter but also longer than normal, but not so drastically off that I didn’t think it was a period. But after it ended my breast tenderness wasn’t going away and I was exhausted and it felt just like early pregnancy as I’d experienced it before, so I tested.
My pregnancy turned out perfectly healthy. But I had a copper IUD at the time of conception and I assume that had something to do with the bleeding.
