Braxton Hicks! Is it bad if you dont get them?

Mo

FTM Here. Was doing some research and found this.

"Braxton Hicks contractions are a tightening in your abdomen that comes and goes. They are contractions of your uterus in preparation for giving birth. They tone the muscles in your uterus and may also help prepare the cervix for birth"

Does this mean if you don't get them, your uterus muscles are not getting the training they need for labour? Would I have a harder time in labour because I haven't felt one single Braxton Hick. Am 27 weeks now. I read they should start at around 16 weeks for first child.

I don't want the pain but not at the expense of having a terrible birth. Has anyone not had them and had a good birth story? Do you guys think they will kick in later?
