Have you told people you’re TTC?

We’ve chosen not to tell our friends yet that we are trying for personal reasons but now I just feel so lonely and like I have nobody to talk to ☹️ 
My husband is great but he’s very positive “there’s always next month” which is amazing and totally the right attitude to have ... but sometimes I just want to be sad. I’m allowed to be disappointed and sometimes I just want somebody to vent to about it!

My husband and I lost our baby at 10 weeks. I had started telling friends and family that we were pregnant. Since we lost our baby, I’ve been so open about the loss and TTC. We’ve been trying for 7 months now and still no rainbow. I’ve also connected with three women from this site. We’ve exchanged numbers and talk daily about the struggles and testing and what not. It really helps having someone to confide in. To cry to. To express your anger each month when you get a negative. I highly suggest finding a couple women you can have as a support group. My support group women have truly become my friends even tho we live many hours away from each other

We didn’t tell anyone until I MC. At that point, I needed to talk to someone outside my husband. It honestly has helped a lot. Do you have one friend or family member that you can trust? I would talk to them

If I could go back in time I wouldn’t tell anyone I’m TTc. A family member asks me every time we talk” are you pregnant yet!” ( even if it’s like 2 weeks later from when she asked before) . I have told her to just stop asking but she still continues. Save yourself the added pressure and keep it to you and hubs. The only person I would share it with if you are dead set on having someone to talk with is someone who would never add pressure or is a true supporter and knows about the highs and lows of ttc . This is just my opinion

My parents know and my husband’s grandma knows we started trying and also 3 of my best girlfriends know so I can have someone to talk to about it.

For a whole year of TTC we told no one, only 2 of my friends knew both who had no connection to family. I had JUST decided to tell my mom because she was driving me crazy telling us we should START trying- 2 cycles later I was pregnant.  My mom called if her miracle grand baby.  Then at 8 weeks the baby had no heartbeat, I miscarried.  Now that everyone knows we are trying it’s completely different- family doesn’t bother us anymore which is nice, but it certainly adds pressure that we didn’t have before

My husband and I agreed to talk to our separate friends, but not to tell family. I find talking to some of my friends very helpful! When it comes to family, his is very against us having children and have expressed it - which especially hurts because I'm dealing with infertility. My family keeps asking when we're going to try 🤦‍♀️ little do they know it's been a year. But I personally find it easier to ignore their comments because I know if I tell them I'll just get unwarranted advice and sympathy. 
You just have to decide what's easier for  you. I find talking to some people helpful while I know others would add to the stress. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk or vent 😊

Oh I hear you about feeling lonely!
We haven't told anyone we're trying yet, but have agreed we can discuss with friends if we want to. Not telling our parents yet! 
So I feel like I need to talk with some friends, but I don't know how to. We haven't discussed children, no one has been pregnant. But I need to talk about these things!
