BEDBUGS? I’m going crazy!

So ever since we moved into our new apartment about three months ago, I have consistently been bitten by some kind of bugs?! The bug bites aren’t always the same, sometimes they look like spider bites and other times they look like flea/bedbug bite! I’ve debated bug bites, only because they don’t bite regularly and they don’t bite my fiancé either! However, today I woke up with two on my face, and I even woke up last night because of it! And idk what to do? This is where I need help! I’m talking to my apartments today about bringing pest control to spray, but I also want to do more so I can be sure that whatever these bugs are, they GO AWAY! Anyone know anything I can do at home to clean my mattress?

EDIT: Thanks to everyone who has responded! We have tried almost everything that y’all have suggested! We still have found almost no signs of bed bugs, but we’re still treating our mattress every few days just in case! We’re also treating for fleas, and hopefully this helps for when pest control comes to our building next week! Thanks again guys!!!
