We started with purées and recently started introducing finger foods, now she won’t eat a meal without finger foods as well! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m not sure if what we do is considered “baby led weaning.” She JUST started to try foods after a month of being given them. We started with both purees and finger foods but she wouldnt eat anything until the past couple weeks. I don’t give her food off of our plates/what we are eating. I make all of hers separately, and cut it into very small pieces. We are going to try purées again though!

We're giving my daughter purees a few times a week, but give typical food throughout the day when we eat. Mostly soft foods like pasta, bread, avocado, banana, etc. She's 7 months.

I started purées at 6 months but my son would just slap at the spoon or spit the stuff out. So we tried baby led weaning and he loves it, it’s been 2-3 weeks and he loves it
