Okay this might be dumb but it's getting hot out and I have a question.

Is there such a thing as the water being "too cold" when swimming? The pool at my complex stays open year round and it's not heated so right now it's probably only like 50°. It's getting to be too hot out for long walks so I want to start swimming in place of half of my walk but I don't want to swim in the cold water yet if it could harm the baby. I imagine it's pretty well protected but..does anyone know for sure?
