Family Fights..

Okay so my sons 1st birthday is coming up. My family is small, but my finaces family isn't. The issue is his mothers side (Mom, sister, moms mom, and moms sister) do not get along with his dads mom (his dad isnt in the picture) has been going on for years. His moms side refuses to come if his dads side does. We had to have two baby showers and I just cant handle two first birthdays im pregnant and it gets expensive for all this party stufd, cake, a place. His mom side offered to help pay, but I do not want their help I want them to grow up and not be childish about it for my son. My finace would rather have two I think to just not deal with them, but I refuse to have 2 birthdays every year for them. I mean am I wrong? Its very annoyoing. Im not asking them to talk, just be in the same room. 😒
