Teething!!? Help

my 5 month old just started teething and is not wanting to eat much. What can I do? Or do I just have to wait it out and she’ll eat when she wants & eventually get an appetite?

My LO got her first tooth at 11 weeks.. the week or so leading up to it she hardly ate at all, and I mean literally not even half of what she normally ate! Went hours between feeding, started refusing the bottle and would only nurse a few mins at a time. I was super worried but Doc said it was fine as she still had a good amount of wet diapers (4-6+ a day). It passed once the tooth cut and she was still 85%tile in weight at her next check up! She just got her 2nd tooth last month as well and it didn’t seem to affect her appetite as much. But of course if anything seems off or concerning to you, don’t hesitate to call your Ped just to make sure!

Same here. My girl just cut her first tooth and for weeks now she’s hardly eating as much as she was. Makes me nervous

My son does this too, but he eats when he’s hungry. My dr said not to stress about it

What makes you think she is not hungry? Does she fuss when you offer or pull away? I am just curious.

Going through the same he's not wanting as much milk but prefers eating normal food now as it soothes his gums
