How much formula per day for an 8mo?

Just wondering how much formula and solids everyone's babies are eating per day? My son is just over 8mo and his pedi said he should be eating about 32oz of formula and  solids 2 or 3 times a day (she didn't specify how much solids). Is this pretty typical? My guy is a little on the bigger side, he's just over 20lbs.

Our son is 8.5 months. He's just started decreasing his bottles from 32oz/day to 28-30oz/day. He eats 3 meals a day and eats a TON at those meals. Meals are usually ~12oz of fruit/yogurt at breakfast, ~8oz at lunch, and 4-8oz at dinner. I give bottles at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and do meals at 8a, 12p, 5/5:30p. 
All that being said, it's near impossible to compare what one baby eats to another. They are all VERY different. So what works for one may not at all for another. Trust your gut, Mama. If baby seems satisfied/full and not showing hunger cues and is a healthy weight, then I'm sure you're doing great. Better to pay attention to those cues than to over/under feed for the sake of meeting a number on a chart (which are meant as guidelines not hard and fast "rules"). 💕

My little girl is almost 9 months and weighs 16.5 lbs, she has three meals per day and sometime snacks depending on her appetite, in addition to that she also gets about 15-25 oz of formula. Usually an average of 20 oz per day and the doc said that was fine for her.

I was actually wondering the same thing. At my son’s 6 month appt, he was hitting 20 pounds but he’s long. Between night and day, he’s at least getting 6-7 bottles all together, 7-8 oz. I do try to give him solids 2 times later in the morning and then later in the afternoon. He seems to be doing fine with it. If he eats more than that he ends up spitting up.

The amount you said is about how much our girl drinks/eats. She kind of created her own schedule that way. The minimum she’ll drink is 30oz, max 36. And she loves BLW, and has food 2-3x per day.

My son has 3 meals a day, and 42 oz . Approx . Sometimes less . But usually between 39-42. He’s super active thou. He’s 21 pounds . And he’ll be 9 months on the 12th

My girl usually has 3 7oz bottles and then between 5-7oz before bed, or 26-28oz. She used to always take at least 28oz but now that she's down to 2 longer naps, that's actually thrown off her eating schedule. 
I also give her solid food 30 mins after her first bottle - usually some fruit and yogurt. And again after her second bottle at lunch time - some meat (chicken as of late) and veggies. And one more time after her third bottle - just some snacks (puffs). She doesn't eat a whole lot of solids at any meal.

My daughter turned 8 months sunday (the 24th) she has about 30 to 36 oz a day. She has 3 meals a day. Our dr said food shouldn't replace a bottle/breast feeding at this age. I always offer a bottle/cup before each meal.
