When do you start buying baby furniture?

I’m 5 weeks and I worry about not having things ready but I know it’s still super early. This will be my second baby 1st is 9 years old 😱

The first time I started buying little bits (Moses basket, changing table ect) at 20 weeks however I lost my son at 22 weeks so this time around I'm waiting until atleast 24 weeks but I'd just start buying things whenever you feel comfortable 😊

Honestly, we’re poor and in a 1bed apartment, so I’ll probably wait for our baby shower before I make big expensive purchases. But DH’s mom held onto the bassinet her dad made for her kids and she wants to give it to us! Which makes me way happy, I love handmade/old pieces of furniture. So much love and history in them!

I would wait until after the first trimester.  When the rate of a miscarriage drops greatly.

I pushed 3-5 by accident I would hold off till im 6months I have most things jst need a new nxt to me crib and I’ll wait till I’m 6-8months till I buy it! Ur choice tho!!!

I've started getting little things like booties and starting to stock up on diapers soon I'm going to wait until second tri to buy bigger things just because it gives us more time (not the wealthiest) to prepare and make sure we have and can get everything we want

I would wait. We painted the nursey before the end of the first trimester with my first pregnancy  and miscarried like a week later. Now an empty room and door has been closed since. That was Oct 2017. I will not open the door until I am in into the second trimester

Oh! And whenever you find things on clearance or for a great deal it's generally better to snap it up because baby stuff can be SPENDY!
