After having my daughter and realizing how much she loves books and how much I love reading to her I thought to myself I can do it , I can write a children's book . So I put pencil to paper and got started . never did I think that my 1st attempt would be accepted by the publishers! But it was , after I sign the agreement production can get started . I'm super excited ! But also nervous. My husband has been so supportive too knowing that it will take a large chunk out of savings and with me not working fulltime that is so scary ! But he told me to go for it ! Even if we dont make our investment back we'll have a book to read our daughter and any future children :) . I was just so excited I had to share !

Update #1 - the agreement is going in the mail today , about to get the ball rolling ! Super excited ! Its called Let's go hiking! I can't wait to see what the illustrators come up with.

Update #2 - my book is officially in the editing process ! They say that can take 4-6 weeks but I'm super excited ! I'm thinking it should be in stores by her birthday :) fingers crossed

Update #3 - the process has felt really long but its officially off to the illustration department ! Can't wait to see what they come up with , hope my ideas were detailed enough.

Update 4. 8/19 its finally out of illustration and on to page design ! Hopefully it'll be in stores by the end of the year :) also new pic of muse ,shes grown so much

Update 5- November 15th cover design is done and its on to print ! Ill have a book soon !!! I dont know if anyone still reads this but I'm just so excited !
