How long do you pump for?

So my LO eats every 2 1/2-3hrs and I generally only pump 2-3 times a day after feedings. After the morning feed because my breasts are generally fuller from the night, and then usually before I go to bed. 
My right breast has been the power breast, LO feeds great from it and I always tend to get more milk from it while I pump.
But how long does it take for you to pump?? I have to pump my right breast forever to feel better and not so full/engorged. Example I’ve been pumping for 45 minutes and almost have 6oz from my right side. I stopped pumping my left breast about 20 mins ago because I only got about 1 1/2-2oz out (this was also the breast LO fed from so I figured I would get less). 
Anyone else pump for this long?

I’ll usually do 20 minutes. I think my nipples would fall off if I pumped for 45 minutes.

Depends on the reason you're pumping too. If its not to increase your production, pump only till you feel comfortable because it's a supply and demand thing, the more you pump the more you'll produce.

I only pump for about 15 to 20 minutes. I try to drink plenty of water before I pump. Depending on the time I pump I will get 3 to 6 oz from both.

My right breast produces less as well.  Depending on the time of day I get different amounts.  I always pump for 15 min.  If it’s the morning I’ll get 4 oz from my left boob and about 2 oz from my right, sometimes more.  Or sometimes I’ll get around 2 1/2-3 on my left and 1 1/2 on my right if I’m not producing as much.  45 min sounds like a long time to me 😬. It’s all exhausting 😩
