Steps to get on bc

I was thinking about getting the Nexplanon implant or copper IUD. I'm not sure which would be better but I'm 19 and my parents are really conservative about things such as sex. I have a car so that I can drive to places such as Planned Parenthood. tdlr: how do i get on birth control
